This year we will be playing Brahms 4th Symphony, on 28 September, at the The Settlement, Nevells Road, Letchworth, SG6 4UB, between 10am and 5pm. We will be under the expert direction of our conductor Rowan Baker.
Members and non-members, string, wind and brass players are very welcome. However, because of the demand for the wind parts, please register with a brief description of any current orchestral experience and positions held and I will let you know if your place has been confirmed.
The cost is £15 in order to cover hire of the music and hall.
The day is relaxed and fun, with breaks for lunch, tea, coffee and lots of cake. It's a great way to work on a particular piece, try out the orchestra, or just come and enjoy playing with local musicians.
